social networking sites become boring

Social networking sites are exploding . Almost everyone today is hooked on to one or the other social network. However, what most of these people do on these different networks is quite the same.

So, are social networks becoming clones of one another? With almost each and every network offering more or less the similar features, isn’t social networking increasingly becoming mundane. Do you think its time social networks require a revamp to break away the increasing monotony.

Social networking is going to die out sooner or later. :lol:

Social networkings now a days is only trying to cash in by trying to lure more and more users and thus get more companies to post ads on these sites. These sites are nothing but only a source to kill time and nothing more. I agree that in some cases these sites have been of help, like I found some of my old schoolmates in Orkut.These sites are attractive only to a limit, but with time one gets fed up of these sites. I had been a regular visitor of many social networking sites and I did find some very interesting and good friends on these sites. But with these sites coming up with applications that help you kill time, I've lost interest in them.So have many of my friends. These sites were meant to share ideas and not make us just kill time.

okay your right i am using 8 months but no results
social networking sites are boring and no results --waste of time
some entrainment sites and some sexuality sites and images are there

There is a lot of garbage to weed through but I find Facebook to be pretty easy to use in keeping up with friends.
