In defense of the festival, yes if winds are deemed too strong..for the safety of the spectators and staff, balloons are haulted and not allowed to fly. I can assure you, we've made a lot of changes and create alot more to do at the festival this year. take my word, we've fixed our mistakes. We've planned one of the most entertainment filled events of the summer throughout the entire weekend, which is why newsday and cablevision are covering the event..because it is news worthy..
